Drive-In Rack in Phoenix, AZ
When a building holds large quantities of just a few products, aisles become the most expensive thing in it. Drive in warehouse racking removes most of them. Lift trucks drive into the rack bays and set pallets on rails, filling lanes many pallets deep.
Drive-in loads and unloads from one side, last in first out. Drive through pallet racking opens both ends so loading and picking can happen from opposite aisles, closer to first in first out.
Ask Us About Density First
The first question we ask Phoenix buyers is simple: how many pallets do you hold of each SKU? Drive-in only makes sense when lanes fill with one product. Otherwise, half-empty lanes waste the space you were trying to gain.
Freezer buildings in the West Valley are the classic fit, since every cubic foot is costly to cool. Bulk inbound by rail is another, whether near the BNSF facility in Glendale or the Union Pacific served Port of Tucson.
Truck Clearance and Rail Loads
Your forklift drives inside the structure, so its overall width, mast height and overhead guard set the bay opening. We need those truck dimensions before we draw anything.
Pallets rest on their edges on rails, so loaded weight, pallet size and board condition all matter. Uniform pallets are a must.

Height in New Bulk Buildings
Casa Grande at the I-10 / I-8 junction and the Southwest Valley offer 32 to 40 foot clear buildings where drive-in can stack high. Taller rack means drivers place loads deeper and higher inside a lane, so we review reach and visibility with your operations lead.
Scheduling and Installation
Whether the building is in Casa Grande, Glendale or Phoenix, we confirm lane depth, beam capacity and truck reach on the drawing before material ships. Our team handles the permit side for you.
Freezer installs run on the cold storage operator's schedule. Dry warehouses in summer start early to avoid the worst heat, with staging kept inside where possible.
Changing the Layout Later
If your SKU count grows, some drive-in lanes can be converted to selective bays. We plan that possibility into the original column and rail layout when you expect it.
