Pallet Rack Systems in Phoenix, AZ
Auto and truck parts houses, retail distributors and consumer goods operators across the Valley all run into the same wall: more SKUs than open floor. Selective pallet rack, the warehouse racking most buildings start with, gives every pallet its own face on an aisle.
We plan industrial pallet racks for Phoenix buildings of every age, from older infill warehouses near Sky Harbor to new bulk space along Loop 303. You get a CAD drawing and an itemized quote before anything is ordered.
Two Very Different Phoenix Buildings
Central Phoenix and the Sky Harbor submarket are full of older warehouses along I-10 and I-17 with lower clear heights. In those buildings, the question is usually how many beam levels fit under the lights and roof structure without squeezing pallets.
Out on the Loop 303 corridor in Goodyear, Glendale and Surprise, the newer tilt-wall buildings run 32 to 40 feet clear. There, the limit tends to be your forklift's reach rather than the roof. We draw both situations differently, because they are different problems.
Sizing Beams to the Pallets You Actually Ship
Parts distributors often carry a mix: light cartons of filters on one pallet, heavy drums or brake rotors on the next. Beam capacity has to follow the heaviest load that will ever land on a level, not the average.
Send us pallet dimensions, loaded weights and any overhang. Standard 48 x 40 pallets fit most frame depths, but oversize skids and stretch-wrapped retail displays change the beam length and decking choice.

Aisles, Reach and Pallet Position Counts
Your lift truck sets two numbers: how high a pallet can go and how wide the aisle must be. A sit-down counterbalance truck needs far more aisle than a reach truck, and that difference can add or remove whole rows.
Our drawings show position counts for each option side by side.
Delivery and Install Days
Before material ships, we confirm the final drawing, beam capacities and delivery access with you. Install dates are set around your receiving schedule so the work zone stays clear of daily traffic. Our team handles the permit side for you.
Phoenix sits on I-10 and I-17, so material moves into the Valley without much trouble. Summer heat often passes 110 F in buildings without air conditioning, so the installers we coordinate start early and plan staging and water breaks around the afternoon.
Adding On or Reconfiguring Existing Rack
Many Phoenix jobs are not new buildings. They are a second beam level, a few more rows, or a layout shuffle after a new product line. We match your existing frames and beams where possible and check whether the new arrangement still carries the loads you plan to store.
